Brands Hatch 16th&17th August

Alan comes away from Brnads Hatch with another podium finish 3rd in race 1 and 6th in race 2. I had a slight clutch problem for the rerun of race 2, After the race was on its 3rd restart due to accidents.

Alan had yet another race win at Lydden Hill in race 1 Saturday 2nd August, a hard fought 4th place in race 2, also taking the driver of the day for his excellent drive from ninth in race 1! Delighted- cant beleive it, well worth the long journey said Alan

4th Place and a Win at Cadwell Park!

Alan was racing at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire on June 14th & 15th. A solid qualifying position of 12th overall saw Alan have a good race on Saturday to finish 4th in his Class. On Sunday Alan had a great race and got his first win in Class A and a 3rd place overall. Click "more" for full story.

Alan was racing at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire on June 14th & 15th.  A solid qualifying position of 12th overall saw Alan have a good race on Saturday to finish 4th in his Class.  This meant a better grid position for Sunday's race, which started in changeable weather conditions.  Alan, along with less than half the field, chose wet tyres - the right choice as the heavens opened just before the start!  An amazing start saw Alan in 3rd place overall at the first corner.  He held this position throughout the race, impressively holding off the rest of the field  - including the cars in the quicker classes - as well as taking the fastest lap in his class .  It was a mature, accomplished drive by Alan and the reception he got from the fans - not to mention the other drivers - showed just how much respect his performance commanded.  Finally Alan got the win he's been looking for in Class A and an impressive 3rd overall in the ultra-competitive Ford Fiesta Championship race.
